The context
Maggy is an independent HR consultant working with companies internationally. She needed a site that inspires trust from the very first visit, without blending into the mass of generic recruitment agencies. The site also had to speak to clients based in several countries, with different expectations and vocabulary depending on the language.
The approach
We went with a clean design, centered on her and her expertise rather than a corporate pitch. The site is available in French, English and Spanish to follow her clients wherever they are, with one clear goal on every page: getting in touch. Instead of a classic CMS, it's coded directly in Astro — lighter, faster, and with no dependency on plugin updates.
SEO strategy applied
Titles and meta descriptions tailored per language
Each language version has its own title and meta description tags, written for the vocabulary actually used in each market ("HR consultant" in English, "consultante RH" in French) — not a simple machine translation.
100% static site, minimal load time
Since the site is compiled to static HTML via Astro, there's no server-side generation time on load — a direct advantage for mobile ranking, where speed is an increasingly decisive factor.
Internal linking between key sections
The Profile, Work and Notes pages are linked to each other from the homepage, so the authority of the main page gets distributed instead of staying isolated on a single page.
Hand-coded structured data
The Organization markup and XML sitemap are written directly in the code rather than generated by a plugin, giving full control over exactly what Google sees.
